How Soon In Advance Do I Have To Place My Order?

Good question. All of our products are made to order. We typically require a minimum of 3 days notice for platters/boards and to-go boxes and 10 days for larger grazing tables. However, if you need something sooner, please feel free to send us an email and we will do our best to accommodate rush orders. Please keep in mind, during the major holidays, we get quite busy and appreciate as much lead time as possible.   

 

Serving / Storing:  

All of our platters and boards are made fresh, the day of your gathering.  Most people plan to consume the board within 1-4 hours or so of pick up or delivery.  However, if you plan on serving a bit later, you must keep it cold & consume within 12 hours. Specific instructions will be given, should you have anything on your platter or board that requires additional cooking or temperature guidelines.

 

Selections: 

We are happy to help you plan the board or platter that is perfect for you and your guests. We can schedule a call and go over all of your options.  We will follow up with an email confirming your selections.

 

Dietary Requirements:

We do our best to accommodate all dietary requirements. Vegan? No worries. Don’t eat pork, no problem. Don’t eat cheese? Just let us know. Dietary requirements & requests must be included during the booking. Please note WE ARE NOT A NUT FREE CATERER.  WE ARE HAPPY TO OMIT THE USE OF NUTS ON YOUR ORDER, BUT WE ARE NOT A NUT FREE CATERER / FACILITY.  It is the responsibility of the person placing the order to advise us of any restrictions or allergies.

 

Confirmation & Deposits:

All orders/ bookings need to be placed via email to orders@bitesandboards.com. An order or booking is not confirmed until full payment has been received. All balances must be paid 1 day prior to delivery or at the time of pickup. We accept: Credit Card Payments through Square or Venmo.  

 

Cancelations & Payments:

We understand that things happen. If a platter or board is cancelled more than 3 days prior to the pickup / delivery date, the full amount will be refunded or can be given as a credit for future use. If the platter or board is cancelled within 1 day (24 hours) or less of the booking, the entire amount is retained as a cancellation fee. 

All same day orders must be paid for in-full at the time the order is placed.  

 

Pick-Up / Delivery:

I LOVE to meet my clients and their friends and families. There’s nothing better than seeing the look on someone’s face when they receive one of our beautiful boards or platters. However, since we are a small team, personal delivery is not always possible. We promise to do our best to get you your orders via personal delivery.    

We are located in Baton Rouge, LA. There are no delivery fees within our immediate area. Delivery fees outside of our immediate area will be determined at the time of your booking.   **Please ensure all contact information is included when placing your order, including a good contact phone number.  

 

Please let us know if this is a gift.  We are happy to include special packaging or a personalized note. ** Please be sure to include the recipients contact information as well.   

 

Notes & Extras:

 A board or platter from Bites & Board's is a great way to surprise someone, say thank you or to send in leu of flowers. Please let us know if you would like to include a personalized note or card.
